Not only as an introvert, but as someone who has struggled with anxiety, depression, and especially body dysmorphia for most of my life - I’ve always found myself struggling to find a place I felt truly safe and loved. When I did eventually find that place, it usually ended up being a hoodie with the strings pulled tight, to hide myself. As I’ve gotten older and begun to love me for me, I realize I still am constantly looking for places, and even people, that make me feel that same protection I felt in my hoodie. On a bad day recently, I ended up sketching to ease my mind and drew this design. It represents not only the safety I feel in the hoodie, but anywhere and anyone that makes me (or you) feel that safety. So when you wear it, you’re taking that feeling with you. To be able to say, “I’m safe.” No matter where you are. I hope it not only provides comfort physically, but comfort mentally to those who need it as well. :)♡
